What should I expect from my appointment?

All treatments have a different time and how long it will take to perform. However, you will be advised how long your treatment will take at the consultation stage. Also, at the consultation stage, you will be aware of any pre-care needed before your treatment.

We aim to give you a pleasant experience at Annabelle Aesthetics, and no treatment is rushed and is performed safely. We are open to questions about your treatment or any concerns you may have before the treatment commences.

At the end of your appointment, we give you aftercare verbally and in written format. This ensures you have the correct aftercare required to minimise risks when you leave the clinic. Aftercare is essential to prevent any associated risks when returning to your daily routine.

Are Treatments painful?

It's expected for any client to be anxious before any injectable treatments. During your face-to-face consultation, Annabelle Aesthetics will explain precisely what you can expect from the treatment you are undergoing. Some treatments we perform are painless; some require a numbing cream before injection. However, most people find the treatments to be uncomfortable but very manageable. We have a gentle technique and are highly experienced in our injectable therapies for our clients who have pain or needle anxieties. We perform all our treatments gently and with great care. We also like to play calming music, which calms each client during treatment.

What if something doesn't go right during or after the treatment?

The more severe complications that can occur after injectable treatments are generally associated with dermal filler treatments. Although these complications are rare, your practitioner must have the skills, knowledge, and resources to diagnose and manage these complications safely and effectively. The team at Annabelle Aesthetics are highly experienced and trained to deal with complications, and their knowledge, skills, and training in complication management are regularly updated. The team have a medical emergency kit ready with protocols and is also a member of The Complications Consultant.

The Complications Consultant is a valuable service to the business, and we have been a member for over three years. Working in partnership with the complication consultant ensures additional support if complications arise from senior medics. Client safety is always the highest priority of our business.

All treatments have associated risks, and before treatment is agreed upon at the consultation stage, you will be aware of the dangers that can occur and the course of action that will need to be undertaken if any complications arise during or after your treatment.

How will I know that an aesthetic treatment is right for me?

A face-to-face consultation will be required with all treatments before we agree on a treatment plan. Within the consultation process, we will assess if there are any risks associated with undertaking medical questionnaires and medical screening. Ensuring minimal risk to all our treatments is crucial when treating a client. We will refuse any treatment plan if there are high risks to clients through various screenings. We have a duty of care to ensure we perform our treatments to the highest safety standards.

We also believe in being honest with our clients, and if we feel the treatment is unnecessary, we will refuse if we think there is no benefit to the client. Alternative treatments may be recommended, identified at the consultation stage, and shared with the client.
